Rules 📜
In Round 1 of the Betaque Tech Fest 2024, teams are required to adhere to the following rules:
Team Composition: Teams may consist of individuals or up to three members. No additional members are allowed to join once the team is registered.
Project Requirement: Each team must develop a unique project that demonstrates their technical skills and creativity. The project can be in any domain of technology, including DevOps, Cloud, Security, Software Solutions, etc. The project should be a tool that performs a specific function or solves a particular problem in a unique way.
Originality: Projects must be original and developed specifically for the Betaque Tech Fest 2024. Plagiarism or the use of pre-existing projects will result in disqualification.
Submission Deadline: Projects must be submitted by August 4, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Team Collaboration: Teams are encouraged to collaborate and leverage their collective skills and expertise to develop innovative solutions. However, each team member must contribute significantly to the project.
Mentorship: Teams have the opportunity to seek guidance from their assigned mentors throughout the competition. However, mentors are not allowed to directly contribute to the development of the project.
Documentation: Teams must provide documentation for their project, including details of the problem statement, solution approach, technical implementation, and any challenges faced during development.
Presentation: Teams will be required to present their projects to the judging panel. Presentations should effectively communicate the key features and benefits of the project.
Judging Criteria: Projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as originality, functionality, feasibility, technical complexity, and presentation quality.
Decisions: Decisions of the judging panel are final and binding. Any disputes or disagreements will be resolved by the organizing committee.
Code of Conduct: All participants must adhere to the code of conduct outlined by the Betaque Tech Fest organizers. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive will result in immediate disqualification.
Additional Guidelines: Teams are advised to review any additional guidelines or instructions provided by the organizers before proceeding with the development of their projects.
By participating in Round 1 of the Betaque Tech Fest 2024, teams agree to comply with these rules and regulations.
